Producing a piece on technology, end users, and/or something in between? I can provide experienced-based insight and opinion for almost any subject pertinent to an IT professional-turned-entrepreneur with Director-level experience. I am also available for comment on all areas covered by Fwd:Vault’s press support.

“Soft tech”

  • The collision of technology and the greater “non-geek” public
  • End user education, training
  • Web technologies — services, interoperability, etc.
  • Social networking, “Web 2.0″
  • User interfaces (UI) & usability
  • Data privacy & data security

“Hard tech”

  • Custom software development, mostly PHP
  • Open source software — development (see my work with Zen Cart) and implementation
  • Website hosting, design, development, support, configuration, etc.
  • Network/server administration
  • Desktop security — viruses, spam, phishing, etc.
  • IT staffing — management, hiring, etc.
  • Internal/external customer support

For a more complete professional history, see my blog’s about page, or check out my LinkedIn profile. Not sure if I fit the bill? No worries, email me with your situation. At very least I’ll be happy to try and point you in the right direction.

I do not use PR reps, you’ll always talk directly with me. Inquiries from college, high school press, other bloggers (duh) are always welcome.
